»ophidian
Again, my experience with freerice.com educates. I learned that ophidian is an adjective meaning "snake-like"; that an ambry, or "cupboard, pantry" is Chiefly British; and that bruxism is "the habit of clenching and grinding the teeth" (from the Greek brūkein, to gnash).
I guesed cauline, "growing on a stem", because of that indie-rock album I kept seeing but never playing at the WHPK station library (whose album was that?); I moved ahead in the game, but was wrong about the word's origin, though, because it comes from the Latin word for helmet and describes the sheath over a newborn human infant's head; pileus is given as a synonym, and also comes from the Latin.
