I have long desired a Donut Robot Mark II or contemporary equivalent, as used at the fantastic punk-rock Daily Dozen in Seattle, but today Damon pointed out the Dough-Nu-Matic, a home-kitchen-sized contraption designed for hey-presto! doughnut production. The device is also endorsed by the bike-riding donut guy, who sounds like a fellow after mine own heart.
