The Chronicle has a great article on Farina Focaccia, a cosy and appealing restaurant in The Mission. I stopped in there for dessert and coffee recently -- it was one of few places open and at all decent-looking -- and had a terrific time, from the moment I put my hand on the door handle (once part of the mixing apparatus at Anna's Danish Cookies, formerly on the site of this restaurant) to the ample and delicious selection of sweets.
