Displaying charmoula recipe

CHARMOULA

Use as a condiment with the Moroccan-Spiced Root Vegetable Stew.
INGREDIENTS

1/3 cup finely chopped cilantro

1 1/2 teaspoons ground toasted spice mix (from Moroccan-spiced stew recipe)

1/2 teaspoon tomato paste

1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon salt

3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS

Combine everything but the oil in a bowl, then whisk in the oil. Let sit a few minutes before serving.

Serves 5 (yields about 5 tablespoons).

PER TABLESPOON: 80 calories, 0 protein, 1 carbohydrate, 8 g fat (1 g saturated), 0 cholesterol, 117 mg sodium, 0 fiber.
